Many of these collections have been passed down as parts of estates. I am interested in all U.S. coins including gold, silver and copper varieties. World coins present a unique challenge that U.S. coins do not. Because of the ever-changing political and geographic landscape over the past several thousand years, the number of varieties of world coins is staggering. I personally find world coins to be fascinating for the educational and historical insight they provide. I am interested in all world coins, from ancient Greek and Roman pieces, through modern issues.
